After having been a PMP for over 11 years and also being both PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Professional) and CSM (Certified Scrum Master), I am uniquely qualified to both strategically kick projects off on the right path or step in to get them back on track.  Even part-time I can add significant value to any project in a more cost-effective way.  I specialize in balancing the Agile approach of delivering value quickly with the roadmap/fiscal responsibility required by traditional approaches.  I know how to communicate across business and IT and know how to keep focused on high-value deliverables and getting around road-blocks.

My career has been filled with migrating data from one system to another.  I’m particularly good at going in to the back-end of systems, analyzing the databases, and understanding how to transform data from one system to another.

OBIEE Business Intelligence Dashboard Project Manager/Developer (utilizing Agile concepts)

Created complex views as a middle tier to a commercial Employee Health and Safety application (I.H.S. – ESS) and then developed extensive interactive Business Intelligence dashboards that were used in board slides to report EH&S metrics.  Metrics included things such as TRIR, Near Miss, Incident rates, Performance Safety Management

2011-2015

I.H.S. Essential Suite EH&S application support/administration/enhancements

Provided support, customized screens, upgraded, provided administration services for I.H.S. Essential Suite 7.4-7.6 for modules including Incidents and Task Management.

Create Oracle BI XML Publisher reports to merge data from ESS and EAM for a Compliance Assurance project.

Business Analyst/Testing/Data Quality Consultant

Provided support on a Baker Hughes EH&S SAP implementation by creating comprehensive test plans, documentation, data extracts/loads into a custom database for data quality assurance and testing, pre-production application testing, wrote complex data validation/QA queries in SQL.

2012-2013

Project Manager/Agile Coach for Data Warehouse – Commercial Real Estate.

Trained product owners and helped them develop, prioritize, and groom their backlogs.  Worked with the DEV team to deliver in sprints.

Transformed two business units into allies of IT by personally pioneering the Agile approach to incrementally deliver high-value data into the data warehouse which integrated data from accounting systems and other sources and made the data available via Excel Pivot and particularly Tableau Dashboards.  Utilized Sql Server Analysis Engine as well as Relational sources.   System was a huge success and transformed the business’ view of the Agile approach to product delivery.

2012-2013

Project Manager for custom Salesforce application which automated/replaced 5 existing applications.

Developed requirements, selected vendor, managed vendor/development, managed/assisted in data migration from legacy system, managed company-wide training/implementation of the new system.  Huge success in integrating Legal, Acquisitions, and Property Management.  Developed custom reports, trained users.

Project Manager for various vendor selection/ Implementation projects

Managed evaluation, demos, proof of concepts, system integration, and final successful launch for property tax outsourcing, SAAS construction project management system, and a number of others.

Tableau Dashboard Developer

Developed many Business Intelligence Dashboards which integrated data in to charts and graphs from a number of data sources.  Provided training to business users as well as other developers.    Introduced/utilized combo waterfall/Agile approach.
